Evolution and Phylognenetics of the Caenogastropoda

The Caenogastropoda are the largest and most diverse group of gastropods and play an important role in ecosystem-level biodiversity and ecology. My PhD research focuses on analysing the phylogenetic relationships of the Caenogastropoda using morphological and molecular characters, in order to investigate some of the evolutionary patterns within this group. In particular, I aim to test homologies using ultrastructural information.
