Research
Interests
- I am interested in the inflammatory responses that are
predominant in
the many types of human cardiovascular diseases. We are looking at
whether if there are certain immunological responses that are
characteristic of particular human heart diseases using the latest
proteomics tools such as antibody
microarrays, two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis
(2D-PAGE), two-dimensional liquid chromotography (2D-LC) and mass
spectrometry (MS).
Furthermore, we are also interested in looking at the
variability of certain immunological proteins that are expressed within
a normal population of blood donors.
